Can AI Clone a Specific Human?

I’ll start off by saying that I have very little knowledge on AI. I must begin with a caveat.

It seems to me that all you would need is a swathe of available data, public appearances, typed words, sound-bytes, videos etc. It would help if the person had some repetitive aspects of behaviour and reaction to stimuli. A limited mono-lingual vocabulary would ease things. A favourite sub-set of word usage would help.

It should then be possible to make a clone or a bot which behaved in a similar fashion to inquiry or stimulus as a specific human. One could make a hologram-video of said person to deliver audio in public. We could clone our public figures and we might find it difficult to discern. In the future there may no longer be need for elections as the clone-bot-leader would remain electronically stable and hopefully software bug free. There would be no moody glitching just a reliable AI being.

It would have to be financially worthwhile to invest in such a clone and we could then use them to game potential reactions to stimuli. Maybe this is already in progress.

There is an outside chance that this blog is an AI creation. One cannot be exactly 100% sure that it is not. It is unlikely that anyone would invest in cloning someone like me. Though like any high grade “Blade Runner” replicant I cannot be exactly 100% sure that I am not an AI clone.
