In the past I have joked that I am a quantum superposition state of a scientist and a yogi - a quantum yogi. One could say that I may be a jack of all trades and a master of none. Sitting on a wooden fence only causes splinters. I am able to talk about magic and write things like this (below) for a granted UK Patent. I need to make my mind up, choose, decide and collapse the superposition.

In terms of esoteric psychology the seventh ray is the ray of alchemical fusion, of synthesis and ceremonial order. It is truly THE ray of cross disciplinarity. Blending science with information technology may be entrepreneurial but the two things were already similar. It brings to together two like things. To bring together two seemingly different and perhaps jarring things would be truly entrepreneurial. An act akin to madness. The purity of scientific lineage may not be mixed inter-racially with that of Vajrayāna. The offspring of Michael Faraday should not breed with those of Je Tsongkhapa, the children would be abominations.
And so it has been throughout history. Bringing together seemingly opposite things is fraught with difficulty and prone to violent resistance on all sides.

In the context of esoteric psychology my personality-vehicle is seventh ray. I love planning. I am not overly fussed about execution. I like to arrange things in my vision-mind and to see what might be possible. Gist is often enough, manifest detail less important.
Although in esoteric literature the seventh ray is not named the ray of entrepreneurship it is exactly that, in its sense of alchemical fusion. Things are collected and put into the cauldron of inspiration from whence something might rise like a phoenix. Most of the experiments fail. Somebody has to keep plugging away. Maybe one day…
